Manufacturer of solid oak parquet flooring

Nouyrigat has been specialising in solid oak flooring for almost 50 years and offers its customers traditional expertise, handed down from generation to generation, combined with modern techniques, which makes it a benchmark in the French manufacturing industry. The company is located on its historic site in Margut, at the crossroads of the Ardennes, Meuse and Belgium.

History

1946

The Nouyrigat sawmill, which was set up between the First and Second World War in Moiry, actively participates in reconstruction by supplying framework for all the surrounding villages. The company subsequently expanded with the emergence of the metallurgical industry, supplying factories in the sector with an abundance of rafters and braces.

1972

The family business was taken over by Mr Nouyrigat. He set up the sawmill in Margut and developed the parquetry in Moiry.

2012

The Baret Group, the head office of which is located in Haybes (08170), bought the parquetry and restructured its organization. The company refocused solely on the parquet flooring activity. The IFA sawmill, a subsidiary of the Baret Group, became its sole supplier.

2013

The planing shop was transferred to the site in Margut.

2014

Two new computer-controlled dryers were installed to increase production capacity and improve product quality.

2015

To manage the parquetry more efficiently, a new Director from the Baret Group took over the reins of the site.

2020

Investments were made to modernise the manufacturing tooling and improve product quality. Production capacity was increased through the arrival of two new numerically controlled planing lines.
